Project Details
Mr Brown came to us looking for a solution to reduce his electricity spend after being referred to us by another customer.
We visited Mr Brown to survey his property and discuss the available options, providing information about how the panels would work, our recommended location for them, where Mr Brown would prefer them to be located and how many would fit on the available car port space.
We recommended 12x Tongwei 390w Solar Panels to be fitted to Mr Browns Car Port.
Customer decided that taking advantage of the Governments Smart Export Guarantee would benefit him more than storing the energy in batteries, Mr Brown Signed up with Ovo Energy’s Smart Export Tariff to receive payment for electricity he generates and exports to the National Grid.
Basically the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) is a tariff operated by the various energy suppliers such as British Gas, Octopus, Scottish Power, Ovo Energy, EON etc. hey will pay you for exporting unused electricity back to the National Grid. The amount they pay you varies depending on their own current individual tariffs.
