How does

A Heat Pump work?

An air source heat pump extracts heat from the outside air in the same way that a fridge extracts heat from its inside, this is absorbed into a fluid – this fluid then passes through a compressor which increases the temperature..

The generated heat can then be used to heat radiators, underfloor heating and your water. This process even works when it’s very cold outside, even when the temperatures are as low as -25° C. (depending on model)

Benefits

Of Air Source Heating Systems

Air Source Heat Pumps are a renewable technology that convert energy from air into heat – this delivers very efficient, low cost energy saving heating and hot water all year round…

  • £5000 grant allocated to homeowners to upgrade their heating system from Ofgem

  • We only use Mitsubishi Ecodan and Grant systems, these are the most efficient systems in the United Kingdom

  • System designed to work specifically in the UK climate, working efficiently in temperatures as low as -25°C (depending on model)

Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Governments new Boiler Upgrade Scheme is different to its predecessor, the Renewable Heat Incentive, as it offers an upfront voucher of £5000 to lower the cost of installing a heat pump. The RHI, in comparison, provided quarterly payments over a period of 7 years.

You benefit from an upfront saving of £5000, regardless of your property type/size – rather than receiving a similar amount spread out over a seven-year period.

The voucher amount is available to domestic properties without the need to wait – allowing homeowners to reduce the cost of upgrading to Renewable Energy heating.
