Mr Wright came to us original through one of our advertising campaigns on social media, customer was looking to reduce his electricity bills – the hot tub was quite expensive to run, solar seemed a good solution.
We visited Mr Wright to survey his property and discuss the available options, providing information about how the panels would work, our recommended location for them, where Mr Wright would prefer them to be located and how many would fit on the available roof space
We originally agreed to fit 8 solar panels to the rear of the property, later Mr Wright returned to us have a further 4 panels fitted to the front of the property, along with a storage battery and EV charger.
Customer has also referred other customers to us since his installation.
What is the Smart Export Guarantee?
Basically the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) is a tariff operated by the various energy suppliers such as British Gas, Octopus, Scottish Power, Ovo Energy, EON etc – they will pay you for exporting unused electricity back to the National Grid. The amount they pay you varies depending on their own current individual tariffs.
