Mr Tomlinson came to us after seeing us on social media, he’d been looking at solar panels for around a year – with a large family, electric underfloor heating, electric vehicle and huge electricity bills… it was time to do something about it!
We visited Mr Tomlinson to survey his property and discuss the available options, providing information about how the panels would work, our recommended location for them, where Mr Tomlinson would prefer them to be located and how many would fit on the available roof space
We recommended 16x DMEG 405w Solar Panels to be fitted to Mr Tomlinson’s south-east facing roof to receive maximum generation benefits from his system. We also recommended adding battery storage to take advantage of the excess generated electricity.

What is the Smart Export Guarantee?
Basically the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) is a tariff operated by the various energy suppliers such as British Gas, Octopus, Scottish Power, Ovo Energy, EON etc – they will pay you for exporting unused electricity back to the National Grid. The amount they pay you varies depending on their own current individual tariffs.
